The Rotary Trinkey is a compact USB device with a Trinket M0 microcontroller, a NeoPixel LED, and a rotary encoder. Inspired by TodBots project, it plugs directly into a USB A port and allows for customizable, programmable input and output. The board features a rotary encoder with a push switch, a NeoPixel, and a capacitive touch input. Rotary Trinkey supports CircuitPython or Arduino and offers serial, MIDI, or HID connectivity.

Ideal for simple projects like volume knobs or scroll wheels, its easy to customize, though the rotary encoder and knob are sold separately. Affordable, durable, and fun, its perfect for both beginners and experienced developers.
