This is a replacement safety switch for the Pixhawk 1. The switch is used to enable/disable the outputs to motors and servos. It also featuresa status LED light.

LED Meaning:

  1. Constant blinking the system is initialising
  2. Intermittent blinking system is ready. Press the safety switch to enable output to the motors.
  3. Solid safety switch has been pressed. Motors and servos are able to move once the vehicle is armed.
