The official Raspberry Pi USB 3 Hub is a recent addition to the Raspberry Pi ecosystem, designed to expand connectivity by converting a single USB-A port into four. For high-power peripherals, an optional external USB-C power input is available to connect devices like HDDs and SSDs. However, lower-power devices can operate without the need for external power. The USB 3 Hub has been thoroughly tested to ensure compatibility and smooth performance with all Raspberry Pi products.
